Aardman Animations.

Last year East Allington won the Wallace and Gromit 'Cracking Ideas' prize. To win the prize we invented the 'Waker Upper' an ingenious device designed to make sure you wake up in the morning!

The Waker Upper has electrocuting brace, spiky hammers, and freezing cold water sprayers!

We all made models which were part of an animation sequence.

The man from Aardman showed us how they change the different parts of the models for the animation.

The whole school and their plasticine creatures!

''A strong cup of coffee and a cold shower are the normal recourse for sleepy heads who can't wake up in the morning.

Cracking Ideas, a national competition for ten-year olds to make contraptions in the style of Wallace and gromit was won by the Waker Upper 3000.

The helmet was designed by pupils at East Allington Primary School in Devon. Nick Park said the Waker Upper triumphed because it helped with a problem every child faced. He said 'the children came up with an unforgettable solution to in a creative way which made use of a variety of materials'.''
