School Internet Policy

Each class at East Allington now has access to the Internet which will allow children to explore thousands of libraries, databases and websites.

We want children to use the Internet for extended research, to consolidate Literacy and Numeracy skills through games and activities and to communicate with others across the world. During school time teachers will guide pupils toward appropriate materials and ensure that children are taught to use the facility responsibly.

We aim to use ICT across the curriculum in order to enliven and stimulate teaching and learning.

We as parents and guardians are responsible for setting standards for children to follow when using these information sources.

We would be grateful if you would read this and then print, complete and send us the permission form as evidence of your approval and your child`s acceptance of our Internet code.
